It was tuesday the 14th of May we were going to the Fo Guang shan buddhist temple I was excited
for this why? Well because i love learning about different cutlers i found them interesting to learn the history
of places i don’t know that well. We were getting on the bus and going to ricaden i was sitting next to my
best friend Ella she is a great person to talk to. Time skips passed we were there I think i was to excited
because i started getting butterflies i don’t even know why we had to line up in two lines one was the first
group and the next group was the second group (that’s what they were called group 1 and group 2) after
we got in these groups we got to go into the temple! We walked around a corner and into the building and
sat in the second main hall we sat down and talked about 3G & 4G stuff than we got split into two groups
group one and group two I was in group two we went into a room full of plastic flowers we got to make
some i made a blue flower. These flowers were called lotus flowers. After we made the flowers we sat down
in front of the flower making tables and learnt about a prince named Siddhartha we learnt about his story
and about what he did to help the earth. After learning about Siddhartha we went back to the hall we
started in and got told to go up the stairs After that we went into this long hall with pillars we got told a
story about the pillars after that we continued down the hall to get to a library and what old libraries looked
like. We then went down to meet up with the other group we went down the stairs and outside.
We then got given a water tattoo. We all got together for a photo and shouted out 3G 4G IN ACTION!
After we did that we got given cookies and water! After we have eaten we went up to the main hall to the
medataction room to learn how to meditate. After we had finished we talked and bathed the Buddha's
we then got given a little bell to bring home it had the 3G and 4G written on it. We started walking
outside and to be honest i got really sad we got back to school and i have to say i really loved
learning about the 3G 4G temple and i hope we get to go once again!
