On tuesday we were doing an experiment called "Red Cabbage" weird name yes i know but thats okay....well i think it is c: anyway lets talk on how to make it....
In order to get the two stars for this experiment you will need to:
1. Prepare cabbage indicator using red cabbage boiled in a beaker using a Bunsen Burner.
2. Dilute the indicator and put into test tubes.
3. Test household items in test tubes in groups and take photos.
4. Use universal indicator strips to compare the pH level.
i couldn't do it because i burnt my wrist doing this...so OUCH you know c;
The color levels
red x 2 purple x 4 violet x 6 blue x 8 blue-green x 10 greenish yellow x 12
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Hi Kya, Tobey here.
ReplyDeleteThis is very interesting and it is easy to see you enjoyed doing this experiment.
I like how you have 4 simple instruction to tell us how to do it.
Next time you could make sure you have correct punctuation.

DeleteHi Kya
ReplyDeletei love how you added in your steps and placed them so it was easy to read and understand.I also like how you said your opinion of the name of this experiment (by the way its called the red cabbage indicator). Maybe next time add what the experiment was about and what you were meant to achieve.
