In how to hang a witch there is one girl named Samantha
Samantha is a girl that has a weird history she has a nemeses named Lizzie (she is a witchcraft person)
Samantha mainly likes to hangout with her friend Jaxon and find out more about witches.
Samantha is a girl that dislikes being bullied and not finding out the truth, What she dose like is finding out new things and mysteries.
Samantha's role is for her and Jaxon to find out why people hanged witches.

That is basically all i have heard of Samantha but i hope you think her role is cool.

How to hang a witch bingo task

Task: write 2 things you have learnt from this story

1: I have learnt that a girl named Sam hates the word cures and every time you say the word "cursed" she starts to go into a angry mood and starts scream at the person.

2: The second thing i have learnt is that a person named Jaxon also knows that Sam is "cursed" so Sam and Jaxon try to figure out how to get rid of the curse.

Science ~ Chromatography

Aim: To separate colours by using the process of chromatography.

Definition: A technique for separating the different parts of a mixture / solid using liquid.

Rainbow paper

Materials;

1. tissue paper

2. felts

3. ruler

4. cup

5. water

6. something to mark it

Process:

Step 1:draw three colors 2 cm away from the bottom.

Step 2:draw a line 3 cm away from the top.

Step 3:then fold it on the line.

Step 4:place in the cup.

Step 5:put water into the cup.

Step 6:wait and see what happens.

Findings: The colors started forming together as the water rises up the tissue paper

Reflection: I have learnt from this experiment that colors can form to be a different colour

Skittles

Aim: To separate colors by using the process of chromatography.

Materials;

1. skittles
2. circle object to hold water in
3. water
4. a lid to close it
5. a camera to record what happens


Process:

Step 1:place skittles evenly apart in the holder.
Step 2:place in the water.
Step 3:record what happens.
Step 4:at the end open the lid.
Step 5:grab a skittle.
Step 6:and eat it.

Findings: the colors of the skittles started melting off to make a rainbow.

Reflection: i have learnt that skittles with water = colorful water 
the colors started melting off of the skittles to make a rainbow
they did not mix together 
they did not mix together because they were evenly spreed out

When We have A Reliever

Today with our reliever I was working on my blog post for 5 minutes then I got the privilege to listen to music once I finished 1 blog comment. After that I was listening to music while working on my blog.

When we have guests in our class I should focus more on my learning stay on task and be doing what i'm meant to. Also to stay at my desk instead of sitting on the floor and not to bring my headphones to school.

Next time I will stay on task make sure I'm doing the right thing at the right time and to not talk to the people around me.

Eating Healthy Ft Drama

How To be Healthy
step 1: Eat lots of fruit & vegetables\
step 2: drink lots of water
step 3: work out at least 3 times a week
step 4: make good food choices
step 5: have 1 cheat day once every 2 week. 


What We Did For Fun
In drama the 22 of feb we did a freeze action pose thing i was grouped up with 3 people jessica, Clayton & Blue bottle boy had to make a little skit of saying a pun about being healthy. Ours was "Orange you glad your healthy"


Anyway this was basically all that happened today tell next time bye!.

Water Filter Science

Aim: To make a filtration plant using household materials.

What is filtration?

Filtration is separating solids from liquids by adding a medium through which only the liquid can pass. 

Examples are:

1. tea bag
2.  coffee
3. kidney
4.  pool

Materials

1. bottle

2. rocks 

3. sand

4. filter paper

5. dirty water

Process - ( use verbs or doing words in each step )

Step 1

Cut the bottle in half

Step 2

Put the top half upside down inside of the bottle

STEP 3

Add one layer of filter paper, cup of pebbles, and sand

STEP 4

Get 1 cup of dirty water 

STEP 5

Pour dirty water into  the filter

Measurements

1 Minute : the bottle has about 1 cm of water in it. 
2 Minute : the bottle has been going faster
3 Minute: the bottle is half full and the water is gone

Warning

Make sure that an adult cuts the bottle in half. This water filter is just an experiment and should not be used for drinking water.

Avoid using charcoal briquets, as these can contain chemicals you don't want in your water. Use the activated carbon for water purifiers instead.

Science Experiment

This are some easy steps on how to make a science experiment at home
Aim: Make a chemical reaction (fizz)
what do you need? : baking soda, tray, vinegar, 2x cups, measuring cups.
Grab 2 cups and a tray place the cup inside of the tray place 1 tea spoon of baking soda inside of one cup  then add some vinegar wait and see what happens. With the other cup pour in the vinegar first then add the baking soda wait for the reaction.

Questions 2 answer if you can : what was different between the too ways of doing this? how could you make a bigger reaction?

Salt Water experiment

The Plan

1. What do we need to find out?  how much salt it will take to make water not freeze
2. How will we find it out? doing it at home
3. How will we record what we find? write it down
4. What equipment do we need for the experiment? salt glass cup water freezer
5. How long will it take? 3 hours

The Proceduce

Step 1; take a glass cup
Step 2: put salt in
Step 3: put in water
Step 4: put in freezer
Step 5: let sit for 3 hours

Step 6: take it out

Doing Drama Again

On Tuesday  5th of February class 7/8 Bh and 7/8 Tz were doing our drama. skip time to 8th of Thursday today we did a few fun games one of them were freeze motion game so we got told to do something then we got told to stop at a point and freeze for 3 seconds the other game  was we got given a word and we had to put a pose in motion and the freeze for 3 seconds mine was one were you had to water plants i was a flower so..... i don't know what to say apart from it was fun! :3
