Hey so on tuesday my class was doing an activity called DMIC maths this is normal maths apart from the fact that you do it in groups im in a group with Shelby, Tasharn, Tj, Alex and Jrae and we had to post what we did on tuesday.
Ariana earnt $10 on the first day of two weeks and every other day after that she earnt $2 more so if we add all this up and put did how much days are in two weeks which is 14 so 14 days and $12 for 13 of those days so if we go 12 x 14 we would get 168 and we need to take away 2 for one of those days so we would get 106 so if ariana worked for two weeks her total at the end would be $166.
Matiu worked the same amount of time but he got $1 on the first day but every day after that the money doubled so we would the go 14 x 2 for all the doubles and then that would = 28 we take away one for the first day and get 27 so in the long run Matiu would get $27 by the end of two weeks.
Who would you rather be?? if you just say that question Matiu got $1 on the first day but then it doubled every other day. Ariana will get $10 on the first day then two more after that.

Tane Mahuta
Hey so i know its been a long time since i posted about my CIP so... Lets just get on with it. So for today we werent inside apart from writting this blogpost. The first thing we did today was go out to the back of the field and take all the weeds that where surrounding the trees that classes were planting.
The other thing we did was after morning tea we went out to the garden and started taking out the weeds that were in the garden because we had 2 weeks with out working in the garden this was basically all we did sorry it was short so I will jupdate you guys more when we do alot more stuff.

Freak The Mighty
So I am writing this for a new novel study expectations for our group enjoy!
Based on the front cover i’m guessing the book would be about standing up for who you are and even if you are a freak you are mighty.
If something is described as Mighty I think it would best be described as being a inspiration to the people around you.
A time I have been called a name was in primary school. I felt like I was nothing but as a grew up everything changed and i’m happy about that.
A bystander is a person who just watches something happen and an outstander is when someone does something about it.
I think this story will be about two people becoming someone they love instead of being drowned by negativity.
so this is more questions and awnsers about the book some of the characters we have just met in this story are Gram, Grim and Max what went on in the first few chapters was pretty simple how max gets bullied and about how Gram and Grim where always trying to give more love to max. Max didn't want there love tho he just wanted to be liked. from just reading the first 3 chaptersI can tell that i am going to like this book.

Novel Study Task
Name of book : Neglma
I choose to share this book because i am really into japanesse and because I really enjoy graphic novels. This novel was interesting to me because of the story that follows along with it.
So as much as I find this book apeling its not for childeren under 16 so I am going to return this book and get a new graphic novel and share it with you guys.
My personal thought about this book was that its really interesting and the drawings are good quailtiy but the story line is a bit bland and not very eye catching if im being honest the man character is a rip off of izuku midoriya for boku no hero academia.
So im not going to be posting anything else of this story because im not meant to be reading it so i hoped you enjoyed reading it while it last! bye thanks for reading and make sure to leave some comment for me to add on to this piece of writting.

Orana Park Trip
Hey bloggers so on monday this week classes bh and tz went on a trip to orana park and i am here to tell you about what we did at the trip.
So at the start of the day we had to go to the learning commons and had in our flyers to say that we could go. After we handed our flyers in we got badges that had our names on them after a few 30 to 40 minutes we finaly got to go on the road some people had to go on a van.
After about 15 minutes we finaly arived at orana park I was excited but I had been there 3 times so I didnt think much of it but I was still excited. After a little introduction we went to see our first animal which was a meercat. They where cute and looked like they needed a hug but I know that they would cut me into tacobell if i did that.
We then split into two groups because all together there where two much people so we split off and my group first went to the reptial exzibit and we were learning about why reptials needs heaters to keep there bodies warm.
After that exzibit we went over to the spider monkeys but they werent out at the moment they where sleeping or eating i cant quite remember. After we tried to look at the monkeys we went over to the Kia. We went into the cage to go see them there where two of them i forgot there names but there were flying really close to all of us.
After a few more animals we finaly arrived to the gorrilas these gorrilas where big but they looked adorable so as always i wanted to hug them but there was glass in the way. We where finaly coming to the end of our trip but we where going to go feed the giraffes I didn't want to so i sat down and waited until everyone was done.
It was finaly time to go back I was sad but happy at the same time I went back onto the van and then we went back to school.

PE hurumanu
Hey bloggers so for the past few weeks in PE classes Bh and Tz have been working on explaning a sport to the class and then we play it. To start we had the bench ball team we started with some simple warm ups which consists of high knees jogging and star jumps this had almost everyone out of breath becuase it ran for 5 minutes.
The drill we did was sneak up on granny. I found it intresting because it dosent have anything to do with the game but I didnt mind it I still had fun and so did my friends. After we did the warm ups and drills we started the game at first it was tz year 8s vs bh year 8s and the other team that was playing was tz year 7s vs year bh year 7s.
I was part of the year 8s I was in bh and my team won. We had two games and bh won both of them I was happy but I didn't think much of it considering in the next game we would have all the year 8s vs all the year 7s.
After playing a long and tyring game year 8s won I felt amazing knowing that we had won!! Before we played all the games we did a maths assesment based on sports we got put into a team of three and miss birtch was telling us questions and our group had to awnser them we got alot of help (because miss birtch is an amazing teacher and gave us clues) and we all had a try in doing the maths.
What I learnt through out the maths is that it is really really and i mean really expeinsive getting a football or rugby field to its perfection. What I also learnt was that team work always helps espesally when you all share ideas.
I found the maths task hard to do mainly because Im not that good at maths but I still gave it a try. Some of the ways I tried to do this maths task was share my ideas with people and taking my time to try and figure out the awnser.
Over all these weeks have been fun and I hope we could have more fun activitys like this make sure to give me some feedback and ill see you in the next blogpost bye!
