So in the holidays me and my mum have been baking a cookie known as Afghan cookies!! there very sweet but at the same time there not!
Where these cookies came from is in the edmonds cookbook, They can be easy to make if you have all the right materials.
Some of the methods you can develoup from baking these cookies is learning how to work fast especialy with the icy-ing, The outcome of the cookies where great they didnt have a crunch yet again they didnt have a chew they where in the middle, with the icying you can use whatever icying you got.
But personally i perfer fudge icying!
Overall this was a great time cooking and i hope to do it again!! ill see you in the next blog byeeeee!

Hi Kya. What a great choice for your home baking. I am pleased they were so delicious and I like your descriptions of the texture, your preferred icing and what you learnt about icing. Afghans often have a walnut placed on top of the icing. What did you put on top of yours? To improve this Blog post a copy of the recipe and some photos would have been good.
