RaT Wananga - Reflection

 - About my week -

So since I first started this wananga I thought it would have been boring and annoying but now that we have actually started it's been pretty fun I found people that have become my friends and I genuinely look forward to this class for the point that we can relax even tho we have to do blog posts I don't mind it, 

Normally to a school day or week id be tired out with just showing up at school but I found a group of friends that actually make me happy coming to school it's always fun to talk to them and just laugh about almost everything. 

This week as a whole has been pretty good I took time to get back into my creative art stuff and actually draw something that's meaning full and not just doodling. I've also taken time to get more into music and found a really cool band called Gorillaz. Their music is really good and I recommend listening to some of their songs.

Honestly, this was basically my whole week it was enjoyable and I liked this week ((:

Art Term one

 So during the small-time, we have been doing art we have been focusing on sketches and shading I'm not all that good at this stuff but I still give these things a try I mean drawing is something I like to do without getting told. 

What we had to draw as seen in the picture below was a cup a triangle-shaped block. I did try but I kind of gave up on the rest 

This is really all we have done but I look forward to the next semester!!

Creative writting

 So this is some of the stuff I had to do during English and to be honest it was quite fun.

Slave States

 So this is the first blog post about this genre and I'd advise you to not read if you can't deal with people being tortured and can't deal with racism !!

So throughout this unit so far it has actually been really interesting for me and we have been filling out a map to where the slaves have gone to and where most of the slaves where we also listened to music and songs from the movie 12 years a slave safe to say that all the owners of the slaves where a real piece of sh*t we learned about how the slaves had to be on a ship for up to 4 months and they couldn't move they couldn't eat they didn't have anything and most of the slaves ended up dying so the people who ran the ship just threw them off the edge. 

When the slaves got there they were sent to an ownership store where people would buy them and use them for their own human needs because the world back then was racist.

The Africans often communicated through songs and sung songs to feel better most songs had a hidden message like this song for example-

Wade in the water
Wade in the water
Children wade, in the water
God's gonna trouble the water
Who's that young girl dressed in red
Wade in the water
Must be the children that Moses led
God's gonna trouble the water

Harriet Tubman was a woman that got slaves out of captivity she saved a lot of lives she never got caught and was never held captive something she did to help them escape was make an under ground rail road

Which as you can guess is talking about people dying. I can't figure out how to put the map in but when I do ill be sure to edit this post !!

Physical or chemical change.

 (Heating ZnO)

Hypothesis - We could have an explosion - (Chemical change)

Equipment - ZnO - Heath source ( Hot plate ) Scales - Heat proof container ( Evapourating dish ) - Tongs - Heat proof mat.

Method - Get sample of ZnO in an evepourating dish, Welsh the ZnO + Centainer - Record weight, heat centainer & ZnO on hot plate, Observe any changes - Use phones for before and after photos ( or videos ) Take off the heat & put on heat proof mat, Let cool - ( observe and take photos ) Reweigh 

Result - What happened, (   In the end when you burn ZnO it turns Yellow.)

Conclusion- Explaination of the results, (  So it didnt explode but it turnt yellow when we first weighed the ZnO it was 51 Grams but after we bunrt it, It stayed the same : D over all this was our first experiment so I didn't expected but i can say that its a physical change   )

This was all that happened but I can say with proof that it was a physical change
